Travel and Stay

Welcome, dear family and friends! 🌴

We are so excited to celebrate our wedding with you in beautiful Maui, Hawaii. Below you’ll find helpful information to make your journey smooth and enjoyable.

Getting to Maui

  • Most major U.S. cities have direct flights to Kahului Airport (OGG), the main airport on Maui or connect flights through major West Coast hubs (SFO, LAX, SEA).

  • There are no direct flights from Taiwan to Maui. We recommend flying from Taipei (TPE) → transit in Japan (Tokyo or Osaka) → Honolulu (HNL). From Honolulu, take a short domestic flight (about 40 minutes) to Kahului Airport (OGG), Maui.

Entering Honolulu requires a U.S. travel visa (or ESTA if eligible). Be sure to apply early.

  • Kahului Airport (OGG) is about 30 minutes by car from the Wailea area of Maui.

    • Car Rental: The most convenient option for exploring Maui. All major rental companies are available at the airport. Booking in advance is highly recommended.

    • Uber & Lyft: Limited availability on the island outside main town, and rides may be expensive during peak hours. We recommend a rental car if you’d like flexibility.

Where to Stay

Our wedding is at the beautiful Hotel Wailea, an adults-only resort.

There are also lots of great accommodation options around Wailea and Kihei, ranging from resorts and vacation rentals to budget-friendly hotels.

✨ We might also book a large Airbnb house depending on guest RSVPs.

🌺 We’ve secured a special discount for our guests who would like to stay at Hotel Wailea. The promo code will be sent to you via email.
